Eating sensibly (together with regular exercise) is the best way to maintain a healthy body. This is a simple fact, but not so simple to put into practise. It's also a fact that many diets do not work, and can even be detrimental to your health. Sure you may lose a lot of weight initially, but invariably the weight goes back on a short time after dieting.
To eat healthily everyone needs to consume the right quantities of:
Our bodies need the nutrients that are found in all of these food groups. Reducing or cutting out any group could have serious consequences for your health.
To help you improve your diet, I will ask you to complete a one week food diary. Once you've returned your diary I will provide you with simple, straight forward and realistic advice. And don't worry, I won't cut out your treats all together, but you might need to reduce them. I'll even make recommendations for healthier ways of giving yourself a treat.

Nutritional advice is free for anyone who has signed up to a personal training package.
I can also provide nutritional advice to people not undertaking personal training with me. We will typically meet, preferably at your home, to discuss your current eating habits. I will then ask you to keep a food diary for a week and to send this back to me. Once I've analysed your food diary, I will arrange to meet you again to go over my advice to you. The two meetings typically last between 30 to 40 minutes each. The total cost of the nutritional advice is £45.
